Pensek Strikes Gold

After just a season with Dutch side, Gazzetas de Sparta, 19 year old sensation, Nikola "Nico" Pensek has broke all barriers in the club's record books. Gazzetas de Sparta has always been an underachieving bottom side club but this season, the fans had something to cheer about. Young Nico was not only deadly in front of goal but when it comes to consistency and nerves of steel, this young chap is filled with it.

The young Slovenian scored 10 goals for the team in just 19 games and also a couple assists to his name. Last night at the awards ceremony he netted 2 major awards, Best Young Player of the Year and also Best Buy of the Season. He also narrowly missed out on 2 other awards, the Golden Boot and also Player of the Season. Teammate, Jason Hupkes is positive that the youngster will be a big hit next season and also tipped him to outscore him too.

The league admin has also started to take notice of this young Slovenian and has agreed that there will be more to come from the 19 year old.
