The season closes and on this Saturday evening, managers and players all flew to South Africa for this season's Awards Ceremony. On this momentous occasion, big names like Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Kaka and Francesco Totti were present. Despite of all the big names present, the X League players are no longer nervous during ceremonies like this anymore. In season 2 when it was held in Sydney, Australia, the players were very shy but now they are already used to all he fame. X League favorites like Nikola Pensek, Karl Gustav Bangman, Ashley Caudwell and many more were seen giving autographs to their fans.
There were also many artists that came tonight to entertain the crowd. Titanium Teabag's owners, Franz Ferdinand opened the show with a couple of their greatest hits such as "Take Me Out" and "Dark of The Matinée". Korean sensation, Rain and Se7en was also here tonight to represent Fishnette FC while Bird Thongchai came with the Pink's contingent and the Siamese sang too. The Fins were also not about to let the rest outshine them. Thanks to Lee Joe Jin's good connections with the Finnish music industry, The Rasmus made an appearence and their performance, "In The Shadows" got the crowd really pumped up. St. Lunatics' manager, Cyen also managed to invite a couple more artists himself, including French band, Kyo with their song "Une Derniere Danse" and also rockers, My Chemical Romance, Three Days Grace and Audioslave.
