Round 7 will see more interesting games being played, for example St. Lunatics and Maibuliwa's conquest for the league title. Other games include Vadern Oranje FC facing off with rising Marc United while minnows HMGS play against Galaxy FC. Titanium Teabags will be hosting mid table side, Gazzetas De Sparta as they plan yet another raid on the top four.
The Americans, St. Lunatics will have to play Forever United tomorrow night while 2nd place Maibuliwa will have to play an easier side, Furtorn Forest FC. Both STX and MBL will have to win if they want to win the title. Things are not looking so good for The Pinks and Vadern Oranje FC as both teams are very vulnerable for the past couple of weeks. They have dropped points while Titanium Teabags, another powerhouse plays a much safer game with single goal wins. Critics have already pointed out the possibility of the Scots losing out in the middle of the season if the manager doesn't change their one goal policy.
Jjin's decision to leave out Roni Parni from the line up came under fire last week but the charismatic manager hit back on the pundits by asking them to shut up. This shows how matured one can get but after last weeks draw with Forever United, we might actually see Parni starting tomorrow night. As for the Thais, Ferdinand Aalbu's absence has proven to be very costly for them. New boy, Lionel Howard shone in his debut but he could not maintain his performance in his 2nd game. Manager VegeKia will have to work his socks off if to beat Flower Power tomorrow night.
HMGS has also finally risen to the expectations. Being voted the most capable to shine this season, they finally recorded their first win over Basque side, Kibosh Wonderers. Tomorrow night will see the Israeli play Galaxy FC. Top sides such as St. Lunatics, Maibuliwa and Titanium Teabags will be hoping that their good friend, T-Mouse or better known as Mou Jian will once again rise to the occasion and take out Galaxy FC.

Miceli Signs For the Spartans
Last week, 27 year old Luca Miceli signed for the Spartans and his arrival has been greeted by the fans very well. A fan said, "I am very happy that the manager decided to sign Miceli. He has a great record in Italy and I think he will do well here." His arrival also sees the departure of Taylor Etherington. This also cancels rumors of Nico Pensek's departure from the club. Before Miceli came, there has been talks that Gazzetas boss might want to conjure up a exchange deal for a star striker using Nico Pensek as part of the exchange deal.
Luca Miceli also commented on his last minute signing to the Gazzetas De Sparta."My ex-club wanted me to join teams like Manchester City and Sunderland but I persisted and lucklily manager lubbieX managed to paid enough to ward off any other competitor." LubbieX added"The signing of Luca is also partly because that young Nico is suspended for 3 match.I already send an appeal to the league admin to reduce the suspension to 2 match but things are looking pretty slim."

Featured Story : BeWare The Ware
One of the big games tonight was the game between St. Lunatics and Galaxy FC. Master against the apprentice. If the apprentice could surpass the master then the league would have been more interesting but sadly, it was not to be. Galaxy FC was hammered by a spirited Lunatics side. Kouriyakin's great form has certainly caught the attention of Galaxy FC manager so tonight Alyusha was crowded out most of the time. He had no space to move or shoot so the entire game was ran by the Lunatics midfield. St. Lunatics put 5 goals past the Galaxy keeper. All the goals came from the entire midfield of St. Lunatics.
Luke Ware started tonight and he has definitely shown his class tonight. Provided for 3 different ocassions and scoring once himself. He lost out the man of the match award to Wes Callahan but it didnt matter to the 26 year old when he was interviewed after the game, "I am just glad I played a big part in the team. Wes did well tonight so he deserved it." Other goals came from Hylander, Callahan, Tristan and Nadarev. This sees the Americans stay on top with 15 points and a very healthy goal difference. Maibuliwa are currently lying second in the league just 2 points behind the Champions.

Featured Story : HisMama Finally GotServed
It took 5 games and now they recorded their first 3 win. HisMamaGotServed(HMGS) has been voted one of the best newbie teams this season but they have hardly posed any threat or challenge to teams but tonight it was a whole different story. Kibosh Wonderers where beaten by the Israeli for the first time. This meant Kibosh's horrible run of form continues while HMGS looks set to launch a serious threat to teams in the near future.
The Israeli team thrashed Kibosh 3 goals to nil with goals from Michael Steinberg and Alon Mizrahi. Captain Erez Hasan was later announced as the man of the match after dictating his defense well and keeping out any possible threats from the Basque side. The win sees HMGS moved 2 places up and now landint them on 15th place.

Featured Story : Even If It Takes Forever
Forever United tonight made their first point after claiming it from a hard fought game against Finnish side, Vadern Oranje FC. The Fins needed a win if they wanted to revive their title aspirations this season. Manager Joe Jin fielded a very strong side with the likes of Grierson and Raukko but it was not good enough to stop the Spaniards from earning their first point. Football pundits has blasted manager Jjin for not starting Roni Parni instead. Parni has been on a hot streak of form and many has touted him to be the next Miguel Mondragon or even Nelson Thorpe but yet he sits in the bench week in and week out.
Forever also played their full squad with Mondragon and Ekblom up front and it was thanks to Ekblom's 83rd minute strike that gave them their first point. Forever are currently rock bottom and it looks like it will need a miracle if they are going to lift themselves off the foot of the table.

Featured Story : Pinks Were Marc-ed
Game 6 ended and once again the X League has provided more surprises. This time round, The Pinks were stunned by the feeble Marc United. Marc United has had a recent run of satisfying form but this win has definitely marked a beautiful beginning for the fans but many critics do not encourage the manager to be too happy about this achievement as it might be his only win. The Pinks were without Ferdinand Aalbu but Hat-Trick hero, Lionel Howard started. The American barely made an impact in the game which led to the Thais losing out. Reggie Crowley's last minute goal was proven to be dubious as many claimed that he was offside but the linesman's flag stayed down. Crowley coolly slotted the ball past Kamol Kumpon and gave the French side their first win for the campaign.

Featured Story : Floppy Fins
They were the best. They were the most feared team in the league but last night, they played like a Newcastle United side, lost and unorganized. Vadern played Galaxy FC last night which saw them crashing to a shocking defeat. Season 1 champions, Vadern had to defend while they watch Galaxy FC dictate the entire game. The Spaniards had the majority possesion in the game which helped in getting the first goal. Enrique Alarcon scored first but his goal was cancelled out by Roni Parni on the 55th minute. Alarcon then scored again to put the newbie team ahead on the 59th minute. Things got worse for the Fins when they saw Dale Smithies injuring himself. That was the point where they went downhill all the way. Iker Cruz continued to score twice thus leaving the Finnish defense helpless.
Reports have already started to pour in that the Vadern boss, Jjin is already on red alert and after 2 losses so far this season, his title aspirations are starting to drift away.

Featured Story : Staying Put
St. Lunatics continues to win as they attempt to retain their title. So far, no club that has won the title was able to retain it but manager Cyen is very confident with his chances this season, "The league is getting stronger by the day. Clubs are getting richer and managers are getting smarter but I've always liked challenges, so do my players. This season might be different, we might make it. Never give up on hope, thats what I always tell the lads."
The Americans played a spirited Kibosh side last night but the Wonderers was overpowered through out the entire game. With the likes of Jensen and Parker at the backline, the Americans looked solid at the back but Kibosh managed to grab a goal from Felisberto Bonilha after he was set up by Oluwasegun Epitie. But when the game was coming to a close, St. Lunatics grabbed two late goals which sees off any possible come back from the Basque team. The Americans also played in their white kits for the first time as they were away.

Featured Story : Spirited Scots
League veteran versus league newbie, that was exactly what many had predicted before the Titanium Teabags and Marc United game but when the 90 minutes were up, it was the Scots that were tormented by a more experienced Marc United team. Their manager, Kai Xian was under fire for the past few weeks but his performance last night was sufficient enough to silence many of the critics. Having the most chances in the game, they only lacked team work and could have easily cruised past season 3 winners, Titanium Teabags. the Scots on the other hand was struggling from start til end. With only 3 chances they had to spend the entire night weathering a Marc United storm but manager Ywen, the great tactician that he is kept his side on the right track by guiding his team to a hard fought draw.
Featured Story : Happy Birthday Boss!
This week, Pinks manager VegeKia finally turned 19. His players knew what would be the perfect gift for their boss. New boy, Lionel Howard was in the limelight as he single handedly gave 3 points to his new employer. The new American striker struck thrice and making him one of the biggest players to watch this season. He was always in the right place and on the right time. Lionel is clearly sending a clear message to his new boss. He looks set to start in their next game while striker partner, Ferdinand Aalbu has gone back to the treatment table after picking up another injury last night. Many pundits have already tipped the Pinks to be a big hit this season after watching the "Howard Show" last night. Incompetant pundit, Shebby Singh said during Football Focus, "The partnership between Howard and Aalbu is going to take the entire league by storm and with the likes of Franklin backing the two giant strikers up front, nothing can go wrong. Plus I think I am stupid and I like to eat dogs." His comments is clearly confusing but I think everyone gets the point.
After suffering a shock defeat last week, the Thais are back on track again after the 3-0 win over Spanish side, Forever United who are yet to record a single point. The Pinks are currently in 5th place and has league leaders, St. Lunatics in sight. It won't take long until the Pinks eventually topple the Americans, as many pundits has said.

Player Focus : Miguel Mondragon
Miguel (Left) tussling with a Teabag player when both teams met last week.
Today Forever United star, Miguel Mondragon took some time off training and visited a football school in Madrid. His charity work was very well received by the kids there. His contributions definitely inspired a lot of the youngsters there. He was involved in various activities like a short training session and after lunch he had a kick about with the school team. Before he left we managed to interview the star striker.
Reporter : Good morning Miguel, how are you feeling today?
Miguel : Im feeling good. After the lost last night you expect us to be down but manager was pleased with our performance. I feel good bout the coming weeks.
Reporter : Oh okay. What do you think bout the recent criticism coming to you? Do you think that is the cause of your recent drop of form?
Miguel : No I do not think so. This is football, not a one man show. I dont aim to continue scoring and be top scorer. That is not the main priority, its the team and I believe this is what a real football team is. I just want to help my team get points.
Reporter : Good good. I can see why the fans adore you. You have a huge fan base here in Spain. Anything you want to say to the fans?
Miguel : First I want to thank the fans for the being the best in the world. Having support us even when we're not playing well. But I promise them that United will continue to try our best. We got some new players. Youngsters like Sergei and Alvin. I'm sure we will overcome this. If we overcome, it's all thanks to the fans.
Reporter : Alright, I'll make sure they get the message. Okay heres a personal questions. Who is your best friend in the team?
Miguel : Definitely Santiago. We both went into the academy together. I remembere we said we would one day play for United and here we are. Its been like a dream come true.
Reporter : I see I see. What about the joker of the team? Who do you think is always the source of the jokes?
Miguel : Galvarino. Usually when things go missing, he will be the first person we find. He is very funny. Sometimes even after we lose, he will find a way to make us laugh. He is good to have around.
Reporter : Haha! I see. Who knew a tough lad like him could be so funny. Okay, theres been a talk bout Marc United's recent spending spree. Do you think its right that they sell their youngsters and bring in older players?
Miguel : I can see what Kai Xian is doing. He is selling them to make lots of money so he can bring more experience into team. Its a good strategy but old players can only get you so far. Here at United we have a mixture of young and old. Our experienced players will help train the new blood. So there is a continous string of good players. Our manager buys a mix of young and old, that should be the way.

Mondragon : A Team Player
Reporter : Yes. I can understand your vision in this. Okay, so you're a Spanish international player, a first team player for the Forever United and your touted to be one of the best strikers in your generation. What do you think you need to still achieve?
Miguel : My first aim is to obviously win the X league title with United. That is main priority. And I hope to be one of the world's top strikers. Once I retire, I hope i can continue to work at this club. This is like home to me. I feel comfortable here.
Reporter : Then who exactly inspired you to be in this line of career? An idol I suppose?
Miguel : Roy Keane. He is a really good player and after his playing days, he did really good at Sunderland. He guide them to Premiership but after he left, Sunderland seem to lose spark.
Reporter : Oh. Okay, interesting. Roy has definitely been an inspiration to many. Regarding the Premiership, what do you think of the Ronaldo situation? Do you think Real Madrid will be able to tempt him away from the Theatre of Dreams?
Miguel : I have no opinion. To me, it would be a mistake leaving United. They are doing well and Ronaldo is being in the center of it all so why leave a club when you are doing so well? and risk losing form. Madrid have money but they have failed to produce results. Ronaldo situation like mine 2 seasons ago. Season 3, Real Madrid approaced me. Want to sign me. My manager had a long talk with me. I told him I didn't want to leave because I am comfortable at United.
Reporter : I see. That is true about the Madrid situation two years back. Anyways, there has also been reports that manager Jjin has been a huge fan of yours. The Finnish Maestro is definitely a great man to work with so do you think there will be a chance you and him can link up in the future?
Miguel : No, I heard from Vadern players that Jjin is a good manager but he can be....painful.
Reporter : Oh? Painful? What do you mean?
Miguel : I hear he got methods of persuading his players. Err, I do not wish to be more detailed. He scary. I am safer here in United.
Reporter : Oh, thats very interesting. That explains why they play so well week in and week out. Okay, I think we are nearing the end of our interview. One last question Miguel. Do you think Forever United can regain its glory this season?
Miguel : Its still early in the season, we got a bad start but we at United, win or lose we give 100%. So we will definitely try our best. Im confident in our team and our manager.
Reporter : Brilliant answer. I wish you all the best and thank you for your time! Oh yeah, before I forget. I just realized that Forever will be playing against The Pinks next week so what do you have to say to Ferdinand Aalbu next week?
Miguel : Good luck, all the best and may the best man win. I will try to be at my best and hopefully my defense can shut him out.
Reporter : Thats awesome. We will have ourselves a great game this Tuesday. Thanks again Miguel. Miguel : Thank you for interviewing me.
That concludes the interview with the X league star striker. He is still in a state of shock after having to talk about Vadern's manager but he looks fine after a while. He left Madrid a couple of hours later and went straight back to the Forever training grounds to catch up with the team. The 26 year old will need to dig deep and play his best to claim his teams first 3 points of the season when they play The Pinks next week.

A'Ware' of the Challenge Ahead
After an unsuccessful spell in the first team, 20 year old Louis Higgins has finally decided to move out from the club. The 20 year old told STX TV before leaving the club lodge, "I need to play and I am not getting games here. The coaches here has been great to me and significantly made an impact in my development as a player so I wish to thank them." He is believed to have left the club at a low price of around 1.5 million econs. The club sporting director said, "We hoped to get more from him but there has been not many offers for Louis. We had to offload him as we wanted to bring in a replacement in the form of Luke (Ware)."
Luke Ware, 26 arrived a couple of days ago from Middlesbrough for a fee of around 4 million econs. The Englishman was presented at the club lodge today and he was very happy to have joined the Lunatics, "Its nice to join a stable club. Back in England, Gareth (Southgate) hardly used me and I spent most of the time on the bench so I hope manager Cyen would use me more because I wish to help the club retain their title this year."
When asked bout the responsibility he has to carry after the media has touted him to be the best players STX has ever signed, he said, "I know the challenge is there and I will accept it. Theres nothing better than a decent challenge. I am 26 and I think its about time I star excelling."

Press Update
After selling two of his brightest stars, manager Kai Xian has once again come under fire from fellow managers. This time around, it was manager Alex from Gazzetas that is responsible. He said during a press conference, "It's such a stupid move to make, you don't sell two of your best players and buy old players,it's should be vice-versa." He then said, "If you think that will make you win the X-league then your wrong, that's not the way...your just too naive."To win the X-league you need time, patiences and hardworking."Do more homework about your oppenent then only you can be sucessful and then the X league title, ask manager Cyen he did the same thing and the results top of the league."
His stinging comments will no doubt trouble Marc United's new signings. Manager Kai Xian has spent a total of 13 million econs in the past few weeks and his spending spree is no where near the end after the departure of fan favorite, Audric Poulard. The departure of Poulard has proven to upset most of the fans. The French faithfuls were seen protesting outside the training ground a day after Audric's departure.
On other news, Pinks manager VegeKia has admitted that his recent run of bad results is going to cause them the title if they don't start to perform. Goal predator, Ferdinand Aalbu has missed out in the past 2 games and his absence has definitely been very costly for them. He said during a press conference, "It is very disappointed, we should have gained 6 points instead of a single point in the previous two matches but kudos to the managers especially the Galaxy manager, he manage the team very well."
He has also agreed that Aalbu's absence has been one of the main factors that his team has been slacking off, "Our top goalscorer, Ferdinand Aalbu was out for the last two matches due to some personal problems he faced and he looks like missing the upcoming games against the Spanish side, ForeVerUnited as well..his presence is sorely missed."

Featured Story : Kibosh Finnished
Tonight Vadern had another must win games to play and manager Jjin was in no mood for jokes as they met Kibosh Wonderers. Kibosh's manager Jeff was very optimistic before the game and his optimism must have taken effect on the players as they dominated the first half. To make things worse, Kibosh scored twice leaving the home side in tatters. The commentators gave comments such as "childs play" and "feeble" when describing Vadern's approach on the game.
The manager was clearly not pleased during the half time team talk as they took a little longer than usual to come out from the locker room. Manager Jjin was heard "motivating" his players during the interval. The news spread like wild fire and many said that the players would get frustrated and eventually lose the game. Funny thing is, the players responded well to the ill-tempered manager. We managed to catch up with young hot-shot Roni Parni before the restart of the game and he said, "He's a nice guy, really. He just gets pissed off really easily but don't we all? We totally respect his actions and most of us even treat him as a father figure."
Such inspiring words from Parni could only mean that Kibosh Wonderers are in serious shit in the second half. The Kibosh side was in full confidence during the restart, so were the Fins. This time round, the Fins played with more finesse and X league legend, Jouni Raukko was playing like in Season 1. Subistitute Lars-Johan Somme was the first to strike for the Fins. His header totally took the whole Kibosh defense by surprise and thats when the Fins realised that the Kibosh team was shaken. They took their chance and took it well after that.
Roni Parni scored the equalizer after receiving a perfectly timed cross from Raukko and on the 87th minute the Fantastic Fin that is Jouni Raukko sent the home fans into raptures as he blasted the ball into the net from a routine set piece. That meant the Fins came back from 2 goals down and when the game was over, manager Jjin was seen in tears.

Featured Story : Back to Basics : Consistency
When the league started, St. Lunatics only wanted consistent performances week in and week out. Well, at least thats what the manager wants. A week ago, the manager was away from the club due to personal problems. That one week was enough to tear the team apart and breaking their confidence. Having lost to Termite-Nator FC, the team lost 3 crucial points and has to endure sharing the top spot with 6 other teams after tonights fixture.
The only good news is that the manager is finally back and his presence made a difference tonight as they thumped Going Green FC with 3 goals. Love Hylander was marked again tonight but yet he dictated play well and silence critics after he was labelled a "one hit wonder" a week ago. He scored the team's third goal and sealing all 3 points. Manager Cyen demanded consistency after he expressed his disappointment on his offensive line, "Tonight's performance was good but could have been better. I am still disappointed with Sergei's lack of hunger for goals. To be honest, I am never happy with my front line. Sergei, Alyusha and Rylan will need to work hard if they are going to impress me. All I want from them is consistency!"
The win sees them move back up to the pinnacle of the league with only a healthy goal difference separating them and 6 other teams.

Featured Story : The Galaxy of Dreams
Many doubted the likes of Termite-Nator FC and also Galaxy FC but their recent run of form has impressed many experienced managers. Their team might be short on resources but one thing they are full of is confidence. With bagfulls of confidence, the sky is the limit for them. Tonight sees the teams playing their fourth game of the season. Both Galaxy and Termite won tonight this achieving 9 points so far. Currently at the same points with league toppers, St Lunatics, they are just separated with a healthier goal difference from season 4 champions.
Galaxy FC provided the biggest shock tonight by pulling one of the seasons biggest upsets. The deafeated title contenders, The Pinks in a thrilling 3-1 game. The Galaxy fans gave the Siamese side a tough time as they cheered and sang for the entire game. Galaxy must not get too complacent as they will be hosting Vadern in less than a week. The Spaniards will have to whip up something special if they are going to face the Dutch giants.
However there has been rumours that the league admin is currently keeping an eye on the Spanish side. Reports has it that Marc United manager has been taking over at Galaxy for a while now. If the official Galaxy FC manager is unable to perform his managerial tasks, the league will look to replace him ASAP.

Aalbu : The Pink Menace
Ferdinand Aalbu, easily one of the leagues greatest. Following the footsteps of many great Thai strikers, this 31 year old is no where near done with his career yet. With 31 goals currently to his name, he is the league's most successful player. Arrived in season 2, he won the hearts of many, including fans from opposition sides. Sadly, this was not the case for defenders. Most defenders tremble in fear when coming one-on-one with this goal predator.
He currently has a scoring ratio of a goal to every 2 games. That stat itself has made managers think twice on their defensive strategies before playing the Pinks. Recently, manager VegeKia has been very happy with Aalbu's performance and even sang his praises, "Not bad for a player who was bought for only a mere 2.2 mil. He has been my best buy ever." The man himself even said a few words after his team's second game, "For me, last season wasnt a good season for me..I wasnt at the top of my game i was always injured..It totally affects my game but thankfully the manager stood by me all the way and my teammates who helped me through those difficult times."
The 31 year old will meet Kibosh Wonderers next Tuesday and bookmakers has already said that he will be the one to open the scoring for sure.

Lilley Signs
Looks like St. Lunatics has also joined in with the recent transfer frenzy after Matthew Lilley signed from Melbourne Victory, Australia. The 21 year old was signed for a fee of 5 million Econs. He will be stepping in for Antony Ramsay after the Welshman left the club early this morning for around 2 million econs. Manager Cyen is very excited with Lilley's capture, "I have been watching him for some time now and its nice to finally add him into the squad. We are going to need a full squad of 20 players so expect a couple more signings."
Weekend Wrap Up
So far, in the first 2 opening games, almost all the teams recorded wins, except for a handful. The Pinks, St. Lunatics and Galaxy FC are the only 3 teams that managed to get all 6 points in the first 2 games. The Pink's philosophy of outscoring their opponents still seem to work with Ferdinand Aalbu leading the pack while St. Lunatics sturdy backline is as strong as ever after the acquisition of Danish international Benny Jansen. Galaxy FC is the only surprise package after 2 games.
When asked about the situation, football expert Paul Masefield said, "I wouldn't its much of a great achievement. Look at Marc United last season. Yes, they beat Titanium Teabags and Forever United in their first 3 games and things were looking great. Sadly it didn't last long because their manager messed it all up by putting a whole load of pressure on his players when he said he wanted to win the title. For Galaxy, from here onwards, one slip up from the manager and thats it."
As for the Pinks, they have one of the best records in the league at the moment. Losing just thrice in their last 20 games. They have always played beautiful football, much like BPL giants, Liverpool. Their philosophy of outscoring their opponents has come to much criticism from the media but still the team has managed to pull through time and time again. Strikers Ferdinand Aalbu and Duane Franklin has been the gems of the team. Scoring a total of 48 goals between them, they are the league's most feared striking partnership. Ex-Pinks player, Bart Pittman was at the Greece to watch the game and we managed to catch up with him, "It was a very entertaining team. The team never fails to entertain. VegeKia is a great manager and this win just proves that he has what it takes to challenge for the title this season. However, I would hope that he fixes the defense a little to prevent goals from leaking."

Featured Story : Sturdy Shield
Benny Jensen or better known as the Danish Shield was under pressure tonight as it was his debut. Signed for an extravagant fee of 6 million econs, if he fails he would be heavily criticized for sure. He kept his calm and neutralized every Israeli threat that was thrown at him. The 32 year old, together with club captain Jermaine Finley held on for a full 90 minutes and helped Angelino Casillas earn a well fought clean sheet. In the post game interview, he said, "Its my debut and getting the man of the match award on a debut is definitely delightful. We face a strong side next, the Termites, so that will be my next target. If I can keep their offense out for another 90 minutes, then I think I can achieve wonders." The game saw 4 goals scored by the Americans. Sergei Santa Cruz scored twice while Hylander found the net from a perfectly taken free kick.
Featured Story : When In Japan, Do what the Greeks Do
Once again, Reisis Taralidis continues to prove critics wrong after scoring a brace tonight against fellow strugglers, Forever United. The experienced Greek international was the provider to two goals in the opening fixture but tonight he played a more offensive role. He played in front of Kiki Ryrosyuki and this confused Zarza and Etxabe in several ocassions. This superb change of tactics is definitely the work of once influential manager, Tze Lun. This means Forever United is still without a win but still the fans applauded the players after the game. A fan said after the game, "Its horrbile to lose away but we came as underdogs and we scored first. Its not all that bad! We have another game next week, I am confident we will get out win then."
Featured Story : Battle of the Debuts
Week 2 has come to a close and once again, the X league has provided fans with loads of excitement. Week 2 is a great week for the new teams as Termite, Kibosh, Alien and Galaxy take all 3 points. Giants Vadern and Titanium were the victims to such shocking events. 48 hours ago, the debate was on bout who had brought in the best player this week. Both Tommy Grierson and Iain Nedston could do nothing but see theirs sides crash and burn. Benny Jansen, who was not even in the discussion yesterday shine tonight after putting out a commanding display for American side, St. Lunatics. His magnificent work at the back enabled the team to strike on the counter attacks and this saw them cruising to a 4-0 win against HisMamaGotServed.
Maibuliwa vs Forever United
Game In Focus :
Maibuliwa, a side that is expected to mount a serious challenge on the title needs their first 3 points to ensure a more stable campaign while Spaniards, Forever United hope to end all criticisms with a well fought win tonight.
Maibuliwa, recently came under fire after making two extravagant signings which many think was not worth it. Reisis Taralidis was one of them but he had an excellant debut, setting up 2 goals. The Greek international looks set to take the league by storm after vowing to repay the faith his manager had showed him. Another man to watch tonight for the japs would be Kiki Ryrosyuki. The 20 year old scored a thunderbolt in the opening game and has appeared to be more matured and stronger compared to last year.

Reisis Taralidis' debut was almost perfect.
Kiki Ryrosyuki's 2 goals was not good enough.

For the Spaniards, after getting thrashed 5 goals in the opening fixture, manager Yew Jian lost it again after locking his team in the locker room and giving them a piece of his mind. This has happened before and many said that this is the cause of the Spaniard's downfall. They are currently rock bottom but the side still has quality players and football experts believe that the revival of Forever United is imminent. Long serving players, Galvarino Etxabe and Cirilo Zarza are the men to watch as both of them are the most consistant players for Forever.

Transfer Wrap Up
The transfer frenzy continued after St. Lunatics completed the signing of Benny Jensen from Werder Breman for around 6 Million econs while both Furtorn and the Termites signed Mathias Sveden and Lucas Wilson respectively. Both Lucas and Mathias will be put under the spotlight tonight as both are equally talented and have a keen eye for goal. As for 32 year old Jensen, he looks certain to step in for Orlando Parker tonight against Israeli side, HisMamaGotServed.
Scot? German? or Spanish? and..
Once again, X league managers have broke the barrier of the transfer market. Not only has the clubs broke their own transfer budgets but also the league records. This week managers have already spent almost 40 million Econs on players and there is also news that St. Lunatics boss, Cyen is going to unveil a new player as early as tomorrow. Today, 3 players took the spotlight as managers compete to get the best signing. Tommy Grierson arrived for Vadern Oranje, Iain Nedston for the Teabags and Luciano Abelardo for the Pinks. All 3 players costed a total of 17 700 000 Econs. That exact amount would obviously make any of the 6 new teams drool as they lack such luxury.
Who will shine tomorrow night? Grierson and Abelardo looks almost certain to start but Nedston looks unlikely because of the likes of Caudwell and Thorpe. Stay tuned for tomorrow night's updates.

Jealousy : I've Seen the Worse
"Bentley, Higgins and Carroll especially are having a tough time. They are the youngest in the squad so they would obviously be prime targets by the media. I spoke to them this morning and they seemed relieved that this would all end eventually." He continued to say. He also gave a stern warning to the culprit involved, "It takes more than just harmless words to take us down. I am not new to this problems as I have been in the league for 4 full seasons. I've seen worse." Clearly not amused he continues to say that this would not be the last of it, "I don't think this would be the last. The jealousy is probably too much I would say they would do it again. Sabotaging us and such. The rumors might be demoralizing but there is only one way to cure that I guess, to win every week so I guess that is what my team will do week in and week out."

Down But Not Out
Going Green FC faces defeat in their opening game but manager, Adverse is adamant and looks to come back stronger this Friday. He said during a post game interview, "We are the new team in the X League ,therefore we prefer to defend rather to attack.Although the game was dull, but i am proud of the way the team defended. However, the 40 yard shot by Peter Hamilton should be applauded. Our lone striker was neutralised by the opposing defender but the tough tackling by the Teabags injured one of our promising midfielder Mihalis Zafiriou. But it was a well fought match and Titanium had more opportunities than us"

Featured Story : Arabian Nights
Furtorn Forest FC made the entire Arabic region proud tonight after putting 5 past Spanish side, Forever United. This definitely wasnt the start manager Yew Jian was looking for but Forest manager, Calvin totally outplayed his Spanish counterpart. The Arabs took the lead early in the game but the Spaniards equalized later on. This prolly made the Spanish side a little bit complacent. They sat back the entire game and the Arabs were simply amazing on the attack. Having finished in mid table last season, Calvin looks set to out shine the likes of Tze Lun and Davids Lim this season.
Featured Story : Who Got Served?
X League made history as they had one of their first ever matches in Israel as HisMamaGotServed hosted Vadern Oranje FC tonight. HMGS's manager was AWOL but still the players were not giving up after the Oranje manager accused their manager of being "blur" and "blow" in a recent comment.
Anyhow, HMGS was powerless to resist the awesomeness that is Vadern Oranje FC. The Dutch played with their "food" the entire night as they had majority possesion and never looked close to losing but their complacent style of play almost lost them 2 valuable points if it wasn't for young Parni. The game looked destined for a draw but 18 year old Roni Parni stepped up and grabbed a late winner in the 91st minute. A quick breakaway after a brilliant pass from Lars-Johan Somme cut the HMGS defense in two and seconds later, sent the away fans to a frenzy.
